Eagle Plains is the first stop along the Dempster Highway where visitors can take a break, refuel, and do some laundry. Situated in unspoiled wilderness, it's only an hour away from the Arctic Circle.

Eryn's Tips:

• I have only ever stayed at Eagle Plains once, and it honestly feels like some sort of fever dream. They have wifi, a hotel, a restaurant and a gas station to ensure you can have all the needed amenities on your long journey down the Dempster Highway.

• I am pretty sure this place is haunted, so mentally prepare yourself for that, haha!
