Dronningens utsikt (literally 'the queen's view') is a scenic viewpoint located in Finsknogen and Omegn, Norway. This popular nature hike is 2.3km with 176m of altitude gained over 1 hour and offers stunning panoramic views of Møkeren lake, Søndre Hærsjøen, Austmarka and the surrounding Swedish forests. Its name derives from Dronning Sofia, wife of King Oscar II, who was said to have often visited the spot to admire the view of her homeland. Despite its remote location, this spot is easily accessible by car on the north side of E16. Whether you are looking for a picturesque forest stroll or an outing with dramatic landscape views, a visit to Dronningens Utsikt promises a memorable experience for all.
