The hike to Hesten and Stavelitippen, located on the Norwegian Island of Senja, is one of the best and most scenic hikes in northern Norway. It is a relatively easy hike, with an elevation gain of slightly over 400m and covering 7km for the total loop (including the ascent to Stavelitippen). The views from this hike are spectacular, highlighted by the iconic mountain of Segla and the near-vertical sea cliffs. Whether you're looking for a sunrise or sunset photo excursion or just want to experience some of Norway's wild nature, this short but sweet outing won't disappoint.
