Located in Realp in Kanton Uri, you can find the not well known but stunning Rotondohütte hut. At 2570 meters above sea level, this mountain destination offers stunning views of the surrounding Alps. Ideal for those looking to explore nature, away from the crowd.

HIKE DETAILS: The hike starts at Realp Trainstation.

To reach the hut you need to hike approximately 6km. The hike is T2 (easy). Elevation gain is 1040m. Once at the hut I highly recommend to stop by for a fine mountain dining experience and for taking in the views.

TIP: Before you hike back the same way to Realp I would suggest to hike to Witenwasserenglacier that is around 15-20 extra minutes hike behind the hut.

I can assure you, there you won't find anyone.
