Cobalt Lake is an alpine lake located in the East Kootenay G area of British Columbia. It can be accessed via a grueling 10 mile hike with an elevation gain of 2400 ft, Is it well worth it for those brave enough to take on the challenge. The trailhead can be found at the end of a 55 km gravel road off from Highway 95. During this hike you will take in stunning views of the famous Bugaboo Spires and Glaciers, and get an unbeatable panoramic view of Cobalt Lake.
