This fishing village is really a jewel on the Adriatic coast - I fell in love with this small town when visting. Located on an island, Primošten is only connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of coastline and therefore offers all-around views of the deep blue sea. We were there in shoulder season (I'm a fan, as mentioned before!), and there was really hardly anything going on. Some of the restaurants had even closed.
In Primošten, you can take a wonderful stroll along a small coastal path once around the old town and drift through the narrow streets. At the highest point above the city is the church Sveti Juraj - a walk up there is worth it!
