Katamachi is one of Kanazawa’s main entertainment districts, located near Korinbo and within walking distance of Kenrokuen and the Nagamachi samurai area. The district is known for its concentration of restaurants, izakaya, bars, and small nightlife spots. Many narrow streets branch off the main avenue and are filled with local eateries, late-night ramen shops, and casual bars. It is one of the busiest areas in Kanazawa in the evening.
