Let’s soak up some true Aussie outback vibes and get our hands a little dirty! 💎
Sapphire is a teeny town way out in Queensland’s remote outback—so remote that you’ll literally see cows roaming freely through town like they own the place. 😂💛

This place was once buzzing with gemstone miners, searching for sapphires and other precious stones. These days, you can rent a shovel and sieve, head to an old dried-up riverbed, and try your own luck—and it’s honestly such a fun adventure! 🎒💎

You’ll most likely find tiny sapphires, and every little sparkle in the dirt feels like striking gold. ✨ The big gems are harder to come by, but hey—dream big, right?

Nik got totally into it, spent three days digging away, and we actually found enough baby sapphires to craft an engagement ring. 🥹💍

It’s wild, dusty, a little chaotic—and 100% one of the most unique things we’ve done in the outback!
