The Stawamus Chief is a classic Squamish hiking experience. But when I say 'hiking,' keep in mind that it is not a traditional trail!

Ascending to the three peaks of this huge granite monolith, the Stawamus Chief Trail is uphill almost all the way and features some challenging sections with rocky terrain and ladders/chains.

The rewards include spectacular views of Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains. And the satisfaction of ticking off a quintessential Squamish trail!
