Hot day? Go for a swim at Canoe Beach! There are many beaches on Shuswap Lake to choose from but Canoe Beach is large, very family friendly, has extensive parking and is close to Highway 1. There is a dog park on the eastern end (no dogs allowed on the beach otherwise).
