You can even see one of the four surviving original copies of Magna Carta. The cathedral's construction was funded by donations from clergy and vicars, with the foundation stones laid in 1220. In 2023, after a long restoration project, the scaffolding around the cathedral was finally removed, revealing its beauty once again.
