The Museo de Arte Español Enrique Larreta is a Spanish art museum in the heart of Belgrano, just a couple blocks the busy Cabildo & Juramento intersection.
It was established in 1962 after the city purchased the home of Enrique Larreta, a prominent Argentine writer and former ambassador to France.
The museum features collections of medieval art, armor, tapestries, Spanish Renaissance and baroque art, manuscripts, and more. The museum's building, designed by architect Ernesto Bunge, showcases neo-Spanish colonial architecture with a beautiful Andalusian patio and extensive gardens.
