This cable car takes you from Wasserauen to the Ebenalp mountain. Many people use this cable car to access trails to the Aescher cliff restaurant, Schafler mountain hut, and Seealpsee lake.

How to get there

The cable car is located at Schwendetalstrasse 82, 9057 Wasserauen.

By train: Wasserauen, Bahnhof station. From Appenzell 25 min, Zurich 1h50.

By car: Park at the large metered lots next to the Ebenalp cable car. Pay by coin or parking app. From Zurich 1h15.
