The Aletsch Glacier, nestled in the Bernese Alps, is a massive river of ice that's the largest in the Alps. Covering 171 square kilometers and stretching 20 kilometers long, there are many viewpoints to admire it from. One of my favourites is this one. Here you can walk up directly to the glacier and get really close. It's so magical to see this VAST glacier from up close. See the details for the hike in the seperate pinpoint.
