Temporary closed -- Phuket is the most famous island in all Thailand and internationally, notably due to his beautiful beaches, many high-end seaside resorts, spas and restaurants. And Big Buddha is its most iconic landmark. It's a 45-metre-tall white marble statue visible from anywhere in the southern part of Phuket. The panoramic views from up there are breathtaking. There are often monkeys coming to check the trash or ask tourists for some food, they usually come out before sunset. I'd suggest to stay a bit longer for blue hour to see the buddha illuminated.
