This can be hands down one of the best waves in Norway and one of the best waves in the Arctic. I grew up surfing all over the west and east coast of the US, Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean and Central America and can say when Unstad is good it's so fun. Keep your eye on magic seaweed for reports or feel free to call Lofoten Surfsenter for a report too - they also post reports on their Instagram frequently. And like any surf spot, be sure to be respectful of the locals and the other surfers. It can get busy in the summer so be sure to bring a positive vibe if you're traveling this far across the world for a surf in the Arctic!
