Te Waihou Walkway is a spectacular 4.7 kilometre walking trail leading to the renowned Blue Spring, located in the South Waikato District of New Zealand. The terrains vary from easy walks through rolling pastoral lands to backcountry treks with stile crossings, and beautiful views of waterfalls along the way. Make sure to observe the sights and sounds of nature and take in the amazing blue-green hues of the spring! Although swimming is not allowed in the Blue Springs due to the environmental impact, the walk itself is amazing and such a great photography opportunity.

Access to Te Waihou Walkway is easy via Whites Road which links State Highways 1 and 5. The walk takes around 3 hours in total. I took my mid range zoom lens and wide angle lens with me to photograph this spot.
