The Líraberg hike on Sandoy offers an easy trek with stunning views of sea stacks and dramatic cliffs along the weather-beaten west coast. Starting from the village of Skopun, the trail takes you through peaceful and open landscapes, perfect for a short but rewarding adventure. You have to park your car at the end of the village where you walk on foot on the small road until the trail starts. From the trail sign, follow the red posts that guide you all the way to Líraberg.

The hike ends with a gentle climb up a grassy hill, rewarding you with spectacular panoramic views over Sandoy’s rugged coastline, including a distant view of the striking sea stack Oknadalsdrangur.
