The Karst Spring Trail is a 3.4 km scenic hiking path that winds through lush forests and leads to a beautiful natural spring. The trailhead is easy to find—it's located right in the Iskwasum campground, right next to the bathrooms. The path is lined with soft moss and tends to be muddy due to its proximity to the river. It's also quite narrow, with some fallen trees that you'll need to step over. Bugs are plentiful in this area, so be prepared! Late August and early September offer better weather conditions for a more peaceful hike with less bugs.

The spring section of the trail, found at the midpoint of the loop, is absolutely worth the effort! It flows beneath a small bridge, gushing from a sedimentary rock cliff in the Manitoba lowlands before merging into the Precambrian Shield’s Grass River.

We've included the AllTrails hiking directions here.
