Rei de Poncha (King of Poncha) is a pretty accurate name for this tiny little bar right in Old Town Funchal. It's home (in our opinion) to the best poncha in the city! 🥃

Poncha is a traditional drink from Madeira made with aguardente de cana (a type of sugar cane rum made on the island), honey, and citrus juice. Rei de Poncha has the traditional poncha along with a handful of fun and delicious flavours!

You'll always find it packed in the evenings as it's busy with tourists, and it's an amazing vibe with fun staff and music from the TV.

Defintiely a must-visit one evening while you're in Funchal! 😁
