Tucked away right behind PortoBay Santa Maria hotel, this quiet pebble beach is perfect for a mid-day dip!

There’s a little beach bar where you can enjoy a drink or snack. They serve sodas/pops, beer (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), ice cream, and more – all at local prices.

You’ll usually see a few traditional fishing boats bobbing in the water, and it’s way more chill than the bigger beaches around the island.

The water is usually calm (good for snorkelling!), but the rocks in the water can be a bit slippery, so bring water shoes if you have them! 🌊
