Kinbane Castle is a stunning coastal ruin located on the northern coast of Ireland, near Ballycastle. Perched on a dramatic cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this 16th-century castle was built by the MacDonnell family, who were prominent in the area. The name "Kinbane" translates to "white head," which refers to the striking white limestone cliffs surrounding it.

Visitors are often drawn to its picturesque setting and rich history. Although the castle is now in ruins, you can still see remnants of its once-impressive structure, including walls and towers that hint at its former glory. The views from the castle are breathtaking, making it a popular spot for photographers and nature lovers alike. Exploring the area around Kinbane Castle offers a chance to soak in the rugged beauty of the Irish coastline, with plenty of opportunities for walking and enjoying the fresh sea air.
