This 294-meter peak has a flat top and is believed have formed during the Ice Age from glaciers that moved in a northeast to southwest direction. It is said to be part of the hunting grounds of "The Fianna", a 3rd century band of warriors. For those looking for an adventure, it offers a challenging hike up its northern side or an easy climb up its southern slope, with breathtaking views overlooking Sligo Bay.
