St. Deirbhile's Old Church and Graveyard is a fascinating sight to behold and a unique cultural experience. Located in the Mullet Peninsula of County Mayo, Ireland, this Unesco Heritage Site is believed to be at least one thousand years old. This site marks the spot where Dairbhile, an Irish saint and hermit, chose to remove her own eyes in order to escape from a pursuer who had developed an obsession with her. Ironically, she regained her vision after visiting St. Deirbhile's Well nearby - a testament to the power of faith.
