What to expect:

Our accommodation when we were in Hanoi. We paid 60 euros per night, which is fair for basic standard accommodation, but it was right in the center and had a kitchen. This kind of studio is ideal if you want to cook for yourself from time to time and want to have enough space for you and the kids.

Don't be put off by the entrances in Hanoi. They are often covered up and dirty. Inside, it usually looks better.

Tip: Get a accommodation in the old quarter. Almost all tourist attractions are within walking distance from here, and you'll save on transportation costs.

How to get here:

From the Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai) it will take 45minutes (with traffic more) minutes to get to old quarter.
