This interactive center with a free museum showcases exhibits and tells the story of life around Teide before it became the tourist hotspot. If you like geology, you can learn about it here as well as about the park’s past and even a little bit about the seismic activity of volcanoes. 

There is a nice cafe on the center's grounds with views. Also, one of the few places in the area to find bathrooms.
