Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lamu Old Town, the museum offers a unique experience with its coral stone and mangrove timber construction. The Zamani Project team documented the Swahili House Museum during a field campaign in 2006, preserving this piece of history for future generations to enjoy.
