Сообщение от Kieran - Exploring Scotland

The Big Water of Fleet Viaduct in Dumfries, Scotland is a massive 900-foot-long structure with 20 arches that crosses a Scottish river. Built in the late 19th century, this viaduct was once a key part of the Portpatrick Railway until it was closed in 1965. The viaduct has a cool red brick buttressing look thanks to some repairs done in the 1920s, and it even made appearances in films like The 39 Steps and Five Red Herrings. So, if you're into impressive engineering feats with a touch of cinematic history, this disused viaduct is definitely worth checking out!
