Grand Army Plaza is a public park located in the heart of Brooklyn. The plaza is home to the Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Arch, a monument honoring Civil War veterans, as well as the Bailey Fountain, a large fountain with a bronze sculpture of a sea nymph. It's a perfect starting point for your walk in Prospect Park. On saturdays you can visit the local green market in front of the Arch.
