When I first came to Madeira, I had only planned to stay a few days. Then Figo took me to “his” special corners of the island – and I immediately extended my stay. Since then, I’ve been back at least ten times, and every single trip he’s managed to show me something new and unique.

If you want to get away from the classic tourist hotspots, this is the way to go. The hikes are absolutely fantastic – and there’s something for every level, whether you’re super fit or not so much. Figo knows the island like the back of his hand (and that’s probably an understatement).

With him, and the various groups I’ve joined, I’ve always had an incredible time. I can honestly recommend to everyone: see Madeira from this perspective – it’s an island full of surprises, and Figo is the perfect key to unlock them.
