My Top 10 Places to Visit on the French Riviera

In no particular order…

1.Nice

Nice is one of the must see cities to visit. With its stunning old town, large variety of restaurants and famous blue water, it will always be my favourite place to base myself on the Riviera.

2.Menton

Menton is famed for being on the Italian border so feels like a slice of Italy ! The old town is one of my favourites and the view of the beach front is breathtaking.

3.Cap d’ail

Cap D’ail is home to my favourite beach, Plage Mala ! The walk here along the coast from La Pinnede restaurant is stunning! You follow the cliff for 10 minutes before reaching the beach and it’s my favourite walk to do !

4.Monaco

Monaco is a must see to get a feel of the luxurious side of the French Riviera ! Expect to see wealth everywhere ! Enjoy visiting the famous casino, the stunning view of the port and the royal palace.

5.Villefranche sur mer

This is such a gem, being only a 5 minute train ride from Nice you can taste the hustle and bustle but Villefranche is a quaint seaside village. It has a stunning sandy beach and the cutest little streets with amazing restaurants.

6.Eze Village

This is a popular spot and for a good reason ! Located in the cliffs you get amazing views coupled with the quaintest cobbled streets. The exotic garden is a must see for the best views.

7.Cannes

The iconic Cannes is also a must see place to visit, home to its renowned film festival. Walk along the famous Croisette promenade, relax on a sandy beach and visit boutique stores.

8.Antibes

Antibes is another luxurious location on the Riviera. The colourful old town is full of shops and restaurants to try and don’t miss its many markets !

9.Saint Paul de vence

Saint Paul de Vence is a popular artist’s village nestled in the hills. This spot is bursting with art galleries, popular restaurants and quaint streets.

10.Saint Tropez

The height of luxury can be found in Saint Tropez. It hosts a colourful old town, stunning port and a range of boutique shops to visit. You can’t miss a trip to an iconic beach club here too, famous for their celebrity sightings.
