S.S. Klondike sits on the Yukon River at the edge of Whitehorse and is the restored sternwheeler you can walk onto and explore with concise interpretive exhibits, so plan for a 30–60 minute visit. It is run seasonally by Parks Canada, with the shore displays and visitor area accessible year-round but boarding and guided programs usually only in summer, so check hours before you go.
