A great transportation option in Berlin is taking the public bus on line 100.
Created especially for tourists, this line passes by most of Berlin's famous attractions, starting at the Zoo and continuing to Alexanderplatz, with stops along the way at the Victory Column, the Brandenburg Gate, and Unter den Linden Avenue.
The cost of the trip on bus 100 depends on the type of public transport ticket you choose, as it is a regular line operated by the BVG (Berlin's transport authority).
Since the route covers only zones A and B of the city, you will need a ticket valid for zones AB.
Prices for the most common options are (rates as of January 2026):
- Single Ticket (Einzelfahrschein) AB: Costs €4.00. You can get off at an attraction and then board another bus 100 using the same ticket, provided the journey is continuous and in the same direction; however, this ticket does not allow for round trips or extended stopovers.
- 24-Hour Ticket (Day Ticket) AB: Costs €11.20. This is the best option if you want to use bus 100 for a "hop-on, hop-off" sightseeing tour. With this ticket, you can get off at various stops, explore the attractions, and board the next bus as often as you like within a 24-hour period.
