One day road trip through Orust

This is a multi stop road trip for those who want to pack in a lot of adventure in one day! You will find everything from cozy cafes to breathtaking hikes mixed with art. Start your day on Orust and then make your way through the island of Tjörn!

This is a perfect first stop, and is on the way down to everything on this itinerary! Here you will find delicious food for breakfast, lunch or just a fika, a gardening center, an antique store and a small boutique!

I love a good “loppis”, aka garage sale, and the one at Lilla röran is great! Located inside a giant barn decorated with fairy lights, they have everything from vintage furniture to records. There is something for everyone and the owners are super nice! They also have apartments on the property if you want to explore the countryside area a little more, or make it your home base. After lunch at Tavlebord, make your way to Sundsby Säteri, only a 15 minute drive! It is a historical site, and they offer walking tours and trails. They have a great restaurant, a bakery with homemade pastries and vintage-style candy, a garden, a tiny clothing boutique and more!

Close to Sundsby is Pilane, an art sculpture park! Fun for people of all ages. They offer walking tours or you can explore it on your own. There are also sheep roaming the property, but try not to disturb them :)

End the day with a delicious scoop of ice cream from Sommardröm Cafe, located in the harbor of Skärhamn village.
