Choroni is a beautiful town located in Aragua state just two hours away from caracas where you will find everything to have an incredible weekend, from guest houses to fancy lodges that will satisfy your needs, also you can go by yourself to the port and take a boat to the chuao beach.

In Chuao you could also stay in guest houses, that nothing fancy but you still can find A/C and delicious food so could just pass by choroni take a beautiful pictures in the town and then stay in Chuao. Also if you decide to stay in Chuao there is a HUGE waterfall called "Chorreron" which will need a 3 hours walked to reach it but it totally worth it. So you could consider to to this hike and then enjoy the beach with thousands of palm tress.

There are also 2 extra beaches that I just love "Cepe and Tuja" but I will talk about them in another post because there is so much to do and you can reach them or not from Choroni.
