The Strandvej Quarter, or more famously known by the name “The Composers’ Quarter”, dates back to the 1890s, and all the houses are built in the beautiful - and classic Danish - yellow brickstone with bands of red brick.

They all look alike and then again not, which make the neighbourhood very special - and personally I can just walk up and down the streets, just observing and looking at the different details, for a loooong time✨

All the streets are named after Danish composers - and you’ll just need to put “Komponistkvarteret” into your Google maps, and it will lead you right there 😍 (Psst… It’s only a few minutes walk from the Svanemøllen S-train station)

My fave streets there are Berggreensgade and Niels W. Gades gade ✨

AND! When you’re there, make sure to make it by the amazing bakery Hahnemann’s Kitchen, which is only 10 minutes by foot away from The Composers’ Quarter 🙌 The cutest little cafe with top notch kardemommesnurrer!
