Finished in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel. Buy tickets in advance if you want to go to the top (otherwise, you'll wait a while). The fine dining restaurant inside Le Jules Vernes is beautiful and delicious (you must reserve a few months in advance). I recommend going for lunch (more affordable menus + you get to see the city during the day or for an early dinner during spring/summer).
