Getting from Puerto Vallarta Airport to Sayulita

The most affordable option is an Uber, but there's a small trick to it — you can't request one directly from inside the airport. Instead, exit the terminal, cross over the bridge, and call your Uber from the seafood spot on the other side. It sounds more complicated than it is — you'll almost always see a crowd of people doing the exact same thing, so just follow the flow.

Taxis are also available at that same spot if you prefer not to use the app, but know you may have to wait a little bit and you are going to pay more.

If you'd rather skip the walk entirely, a private transfer is a seamless door-to-door option, just know it comes at a higher price point. We'd still recommend it for larger groups or late-night arrivals when convenience is worth it.

Buses do run to Sayulita, but they're not something we personally recommend, especially with luggage and with the winding roads nearing Sayulita.
