Exploring in New Zealand with a campervan is the perfect way to see the country!! The South Island is incredible, and there are endless things to do. This itinerary highlights many of our favourite spots, but if you can stay longer, I recommend checking out the other itinerary to add areas like Kaikoura and Abel Tasman to your journey which are worth visiting!

Drive 1 hour 15 minutes to your first stop. There are 3 stops along the Arthurs Pass Scenic highway that we recommend. Feel free to stop anywhere you like, as it is a stunning drive, especially on a beautiful day!

Optional: Watch sunset at Hokitika Beach then head to the Glow Worm Dell after dark! There is limited parking, so just make sure you park in a safe location. I would recommend heading there atleast 1 hour or more after sunset to really see the worms. It really is magical!
