If you won’t be able to make it to Naples on your vacation, fear not! You can still enjoy a delicious, authentic Neapolitan pizza right here in Florence at Pizzeria Giotto. To put it plainly, Pizzeria Giotto is my favorite Pizzeria in Florence. Owned and run by Marco, a pizzaiolo from Naples, Giotto serves hands-down the best Neapolitan-style pizza that you will find in Florence (and also some incredibly tasty authentic Neapolitan appetizers too!). After the first location outside the city center of Florence was a hit amongst locals, Marco has just opened this new location in the city center so that tourists can experience and enjoy these incredible pizzas as well.

Kacie's Recommendation: For an appetizer, you have to try their “Tris di Montanarine”. Montanarine is a Neapolitan treat of fried dough topped with a variety of things, and here at Giotto they give you 3 different flavors to try. As for the pizzas, you truly cannot go wrong with any one of them. I personally love the classic “Giotto”, because if a restaurant is going to name a dish after them, you know it has to be good ;)
