Echidna Chasm is a spectacular gorge and a must see in Purnululu National Park, being it part of the Bungles Bungles Range it is one of the most iconic spots in the whole of Australia. Walking through it feels like being in an adventure movie! It is a narrow, winding chasm with sheer walls of red and orange sandstone, reaching up to 30 metres in height.

The walk starts ate the Echidna Chasm Carpark and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the end of the gorge

Photo tip: we highly recommend visiting at central hours of the day when sunny for the best light hitting the red rocks from the top!

It is in a National Park so make sure you have a Western Australia National Park Pass
