How to Get to Murano!

🚤 1. Public Vaporetto (Water Bus)

• The most economical and frequent option.

• Best departure point: Fondamente Nove (north side of Venice). Take lines 3, 4.1, 4.2, or 12 directly to Murano.

• Travel time: about 8–10 minutes if direct.

• Boats run every 15 minutes or so.

• You can also depart from Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia train station, but the journey takes longer.

💡 Tip: If you plan to use the vaporetto more than twice in a day, consider a 24-hour or 48-hour pass.

🚖 2. Private Water Taxi

• A faster, more comfortable (and more expensive) option.

• Departs from major hubs like Piazzale Roma, Santa Lucia, San Marco, or even from your hotel dock if available.

• Travel time: roughly 10–30 minutes, depending on location.

• Ideal for groups or travelers with luggage.
