The harbour Karpathos is located on the east side of the island in the capital Pigadia, which is also known as Karpathos Town.

This is the main harbour where most boat trips start and it's also the harbour where the ferry arrives to other islands.

The ferry routes change sometimes but at the moment the route starts in Piraeus and goes to Santorini, Anafi, Crete (Heraklion and Sitia), Kasos, Karpathos, Diafani (in Karpathos as well) and then to Chalki and Rhodes. Blue Star Ferries is the one operating and the trip is about 17,5 hours (Piraeus - Karpathos).

From here you can also visit Kasos island with the Kasos Princess who operates daily.
