You should go by car because public transport is rare and the access road is narrow, so drive carefully and be prepared to use a small parking area. Wear grippy shoes and a waterproof layer since the ground is often muddy and fog rolls in quickly, and stick to marked trails because this is a protected site. Visit early morning for the best light and misty atmosphere, expect a few other photographers on weekends, and combine the stop with nearby Paul da Serra if you have a half day.
