Trains on the Rhine valley line and river cruise boats stop here, and using public transport usually beats hunting for scarce parking in the center. Climb or visit Schönburg Castle for the best views, try the local Riesling in a small weinstube, and check seasonal opening hours for museums and eateries before you go.
