Manuel Antonio Beach is one of Costa Rica’s most breathtaking coastal spots — a perfect blend of turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush rainforest backdrop. Nestled within Manuel Antonio National Park, it’s famous for natural beauty, relaxation, and wildlife sightings right at the water’s edge.

Getting there is simple — the beach is accessible by foot via well-marked trails from the park entrance, and once you arrive you’ll find a series of scenic coves and swimming areas framed by rocky headlands and jungle. The water here is calm and inviting, making it ideal for swimming, splashing, or just lounging in the sun.

One of the coolest things about Manuel Antonio Beach is how wildlife coexists with beach life. It’s common to spot white-face monkeys, iguanas, colorful birds, and sloths nearby as you enjoy the sand and surf — one of those truly Costa Rican experiences where nature feels impossibly close.

Because it’s inside a national park, there’s a small entry fee, and most people plan it as a half-day or full-day outing that can be paired with easy hikes on the park trails, shaded picnic spots, and lookout points with killer ocean views.
