It takes an average of 47 minutes to complete the route, making it perfect for quick outings or picnics along the way. Dogs are welcome if they’re kept on a leash. Visitors can enjoy hot summer days by taking a swim in the icy waters under the waterfall or exploring the old forest burn area that’s now regrowing. A NW Forest pass is required, but $5 will do in case visitors forget their pass at home.
