The Chicago River Architectural boat tour is one of the city's most popular activities. I recommend booking through the Chicago Architecture Center (CAC). Their tours are narrated by expertly trained docents that have hundreds of hours of architectural instruction. Seating is general admission so recommend getting in line early to have first pick of seats.
