Sokos Hotel Torni is a stunning hotel in the heart of Helsinki, and its grandeur makes it a kind of city landmark. At the top of the tower is Ateljee Bar, a cozy and slightly luxurious small bar offering breathtaking panoramic views over Helsinki.

Entry to the bar is free, and I especially recommend visiting at sunset, when the city is bathed in beautiful evening light.

To reach Ateljee Bar, take the hotel's elevators to the top floor, where the lobby is located – from there, you can already admire the scenery through large glass windows. However, the final part requires a bit of climbing: to access the bar, you must ascend a small spiral staircase, making the venue unfortunately unsuitable for those with mobility impairments.

Sokos Hotel Torni on upea hotelli Helsingin keskustassa, ja sen komeus tekee siitä eräänlaisen kaupungin maamerkin. Tornin huipulla sijaitsee Ateljee Bar, tunnelmallinen ja ripauksen luksusta henkivä pieni baari, josta avautuvat upeat panoraamanäkymät Helsingin ylle.

Baariin on vapaa pääsy, ja suosittelen erityisesti vierailemaan siellä auringonlaskun aikaan, jolloin kaupunki kylpee kauniissa iltavaloissa.

Saapuaksesi Ateljee Bariin, nouse hotellin hisseillä ylimpään kerrokseen, jossa sijaitsee aula – sieltä voi jo ihastella maisemia suurten lasi-ikkunoiden läpi. Viimeinen osuus vaatii kuitenkin hieman kiipeämistä: baarille päästäkseen tulee nousta pieniä kierreportaita pitkin, joten paikka ei valitettavasti sovi liikuntaesteisille.
