Day 1
Spend your first full day in Slovenia exploring the charming capital city, Ljubljana. Start your day with a coffee at Cacao and then wander the city streets visiting spots like the Dragon Bridge, Preseren Square and the Central Market. Stop for lunch at Slovenska hiša Ljubljančanka before visiting the iconic Ljubljana castle. In the evening, make the short drive to Bled which will be your home for the next 3 nights. Enjoy a delicious dinner at Old Bled House to end your day!

Lake Bled is one of the most iconic places in Slovenia, with a fairytale island in the middle of the lake and a castle perched on a cliff above. You can take a traditional wooden pletna boat out to the island to visit the church, or just walk around the lake and take in the views. It’s a mix of natural beauty and historic charm, and would make a great home base to explore other parts of Slovenia like Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj. While you're there, make sure to try a slice of the famous Bled cream cake!
